An entrepreneur and an expert in business, data insights, resilience, and artificial intelligence (AI), Aurelie Mei-Hoa Beaumel is the co-founder of Blu Sphinx, a technology venture supported by the National Science Foundation to develop a new breed of ERP for small and medium-sized businesses. From years of study and experience, Aurelie is an expert in cognitive science, melding her knowledge of human behavior to a technology environment – she knows the desired human experience and how technology can be used to achieve it.
Previously, for five years, Aurelie was co-owner of BIG EXPERTS, a consultancy firm based in Austin and Paris, that helped companies of all sizes solve problems related to information technologies and to improve the productivity and resilience of their organizations. She began her career as an international strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), serving numerous industry vertical clients in the United States and in Europe, spending more than six years as an expert in customer insights, pricing, consumer goods, and data analytics. Aurelie also served from 2017 to 2020 as an officer in the civilian reserve of the French Air Force.
An alumna of Stanford University, Aurelie earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics, as well as Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in cognitive science. She is fluent in English and French, and has skills in Indonesian, German, and Japanese.
